Reflection on Amal Totkay
I learned various things from these tips .
Firstly, We can’t accomplish anything great until we did not design a proper quality control system in ourselves to check about the standing in that matter. One needs to accept one’s failures and weaknesses and start by working on one’s self. Here I want to mention a quote:
Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.
— Thomas Jefferson
The second totka that is getting “out of comfort zone”. Nothing can help unless one decides that it’s time for action persistence and hard work.
The third tip was creating a new habit. And I rephrase this tip in my context to make this actionable “Replace a Habit” mean I will replace a bad habit with a good habit.
“Champions don’t do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things, but they do them without thinking, too fast for the other team to react. They follow the habits they’ve learned.”
The fourth tip was asking people for help which is necessary for anyone to perform better in any field, when we find our self a mentor and get feedback from the people who are skilled and successful it helps us grow. As it is rightly said,
“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.”
The last amazing tip was to fake it until we make it. Research shows that if you act as if you were competent and confident in an area, will eventually lead to improved competence and confidence
I found all of these tips really amazing. Each one has it's own vitality and importance. I have already started applying all of them to develop a growth mindset. One can start developing a growth mindset from today by, acknowledging and embracing imperfections. Viewing challenges as opportunities.
A growth mindset where the person is Honest as well as responsible to their duty/commitment, having a proper mechanism to check their progress or we can say having a proper Quality control system, this mindset also very flexible to learn as well as adopt new things, having Life long learning Habits, always evolve their thinking pattern, firm belief on Hardworking, in addition, this mindset is also very creative innovative, and also believe on taking initiative either with authority or without authority. Last but not least I also want to add here this mindset also believes in teamwork where he/she respects and considers each and every person as the stakeholder of their business progress and always try to interact with them keeping in mind the factor kindness and respect.
Trying different learning tactics. Replacing the word “failing” with the word “learning.” Valuing the process over the end result. Cultivating a sense of purpose. Celebrating growth with others. Rewarding actions, not traits. Redefining “genius.” Portraying criticism as positive and Utilizing regular opportunities for reflection
